You can win great prizes from KATY and to ensure that all of our listeners have a fair and equal chance at winning, you need to be aware of these contest rules.
KATY 101.3 GENERAL CONTEST RULES Effective 1/4/12
Prizes must be picked up during regular business hours (Monday-Friday between 9:00am-5:30pm) at our studios on 27431 Enterprise Circle West, Suite 101, Temecula, CA 92590.
Prizes are held for 30 days at the station - unfortunatley we are unable to mail prizes.
Winners will be required to provide positive identification to claim their prize. Photo identification will be requested and must be provided. All winners must provide their social security number to claim their prize.
Prize winners must wait 30 days after winning before becoming eligible again to win.
KATY reserves the right to limit each household to one qualifier per contest and make prize substitutions when necessary. An individual, his/her immediate family, and members of the same household may not win any prize more than once every 30 days.
You must be 16 years of age or older to participate in a contest, though some contests may have special age and other entry restrictions.
Winners must sign an affidavit of eligibility and release to claim their prize. If a winner is found in violation of the rules, he/she may be required to forfeit the prize.
Winners of prizes valued at $600 or more must complete a federal income tax return form when claiming their prize. Taxes and other incidental expenses associated with winning any prize are the responsibility of the winners.
Employees and immediate family members of KATY, and/or its parent company All Pro Broadcasting, Inc., employees of competing radio stations, and employees of participating contest sponsors are not eligible to win.
CONDITIONS
a. Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners. Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent.
b. By participating in the contest, the winner or winners agree to have their name, voice, photographs, video or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize.
c. Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, the Station in its sole discretion may require contest winners (and their travel companions, if any) to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold the Station, its corporate licensee, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated corporations, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.
d. The Station reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize or equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement. If due to circumstances beyond the control of the Station, any competition or prize-related event is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled, the Station reserves the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.
e. Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification solely at the discretion of the Station.
f. The Station is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest, or in the announcement of a prize.

Prizes may not be assigned or transferred. Substitutions of prizes may be necessary upon availabilities. Cash equivalent to any prize will be not be awarded.
Prizes HAVE to be claimed within 30 days of winning!!!
