Spectacular views, ease to all of the shops, restaurants and night clubs of downtown.
Why is it called Oktoberfest?
The first edition of the Oktoberfest took place in 1810 to celebrate Princess Therese von Sachsen-Hildburghausen's wedding. Celebrations started on 12th October and went on until 17th October with a horse race. In the following years the festival was repeated, prolonged and finally re-scheduled in September. Historically, the last weekend of the Oktoberfest always fell in October and this tradition continues today.
