OUR NEWEST STORY:
Earlier this month, Cynthia from Riverside County Mental Health Department, reached out to The Mix for donations for their patients and family for "back to school."
Thanks to AWESOME MIXERS, we received an amazing amount of donations, and we, as well as the Department are so grateful!

6/9/14- Jeanie called regarding her sister Marty who has cancer. It started in the lungs, went to the liver, and not long ago went to her brain. She was wondering if anyone might be able to help with transportation to Irvine for her last round of chemo treatments. Also is there anyone or a grocery outlet willing to help out with organic food? Please let us know here. Or call 506-1222. Or e-mail me, Bob@1013themix.com. Thanks ahead of time for paying it forward!
May 2nd: This week's Act of Kindness brings us to California Auto Center in Murrieta. Becky e-mailed us about her part-time caregiver and "adopted daughter", Michelle. She has an old pick-up, called "Beater Truck", which won't pass smog. Now that Becky is back to work after her surgery, Michelle needs her truck to to find new work. So, no truck, no work. Becky asked if we could help. So we brought her on the air Wednesday, and by Thursday C.A.C. stepped up to the plate. And when we all met there Friday, Eric from Napa Auto parts just HAPPENED to be there, and offered to comp any parts for the truck. So we'd like to thank multiple heros on this one!
April 11th, 2014- MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! Check out what we did here!
April 10th, 2014- So today's Act of Kindness is being done for Jodie Sanchez. Her parents are big time givers and are always trying to help their kids and others out despite not having a lot of money. They live in a senior retirement community in Murrieta, and clean houses for extra money. She asked if we could do anything for them. We're stepping up to the plate with Digiplex movie passes for a date nite. But we're wondering if there's a grocery market, or food store that might be willing to offer a gift certificate to this lovely couple. And hey, while we're at it, any limo company that might be willing to take them on their date nite? Get back with us here or on our website or at Bob@1013themix.com. Thanks guys. Help us pay it forward.
March 28th, 2014- Today's Act of Kindness came from Jan who Facebooked us about Karen, a caregiver in Menifee who recently experienced a house fire that burned down her garage, and knocked out her electricity. Jan asked if we could help her out with her car which has multiple problems.
P&T Auto Service stepped up to the plate and offerred to help out. Here are some pictures and video of our experience lending a helping hand.....
March 21st, 2014- We sent our intern Nick, and Promotions Director, Holly out to help Mrs. Tayler at Harmony Elementary School in Hemet. Her friend Tammy e-mailed us and told us she's sometimes a classroom assistant, and that her daughter's 1st grade teacher had a really messy, unorganized bookshelf. Could we help? Answer: of course! So here are some pictures of our promotions director Holly and intern Nick cleaning up her act a bit. We were glad to help out. Pictures from The Mix Acts of Kindness on March 21st, 2014.
